Our new terminal extension is now open

Explore the brand-new space featuring exciting new restaurants, lounges, and a stunning panoramic view of the runway! All passengers arriving and departing via LBA can now benefit from the upgraded terminal facilities, just follow the corridor at Gate 5.

The completion of the terminal extension has introduced a modernised arrivals process, including a new baggage reclaim area and an upgraded passport control facility incorporating advanced security technologies, designed to make journeys smoother and more efficient.

The new terminal also brings a significant increase in seating, offering passengers more comfort and uninterrupted views of the runway. In addition, the expanded terminal includes a broader food and drink offering, providing travellers with more variety and choice than ever before.

An updated Burger King restaurant and new craft beer and kitchen concept, Tap and Brew, have already opened in the new terminal extension in the first phase of the airport’s food and drink transformation. Serving up juicy burgers, loaded fries and bangin’ breakfasts. Make sure you come hungry!

Refurbishment of the old terminal is now underway

Work on Phase 2 of the project has begun focussing on refurbishing the existing terminal. This will impact the usual passenger flows, particularly for those departing from the airport.

Upon arrival at the terminal, passengers will notice hoardings and scaffolding at the terminal front, a relocated Meet & Greet parking area, external temporary toilet facilities and changes to bus pick-up and drop-off zones. Our meeting area for arrivals, including international and domestic has moved. It is now no longer inside the terminal building.

Changes to transport and car parking due to refurbishment

Please note that the bus stop for the Long Stay Car Park and Car Rental Centre has moved. It is now located down the middle walkway and to the left when walking from the main terminal doors, alongside the other bus pick-up and drop-off points at the terminal front.

The location for Meet and Greet key drop-off and collection has changed. Keys must now be dropped off and collected from the small office container located in the Meet and Greet car park and a staff member will direct you to where your car is parked.
